COMMUNITY: Other Community Not Listed COMMENTSwhen driving on the highways at nightime in clear weather have you ever experienced these two situation,? (A) Meeting an oncoming vehicle the driver dim the headlamps and now instead of their headlamps being on high beam they are on low beam with two added lamps even brighter projecting bright light into your field of Vision (B) a vehicle coming up behind your vehicle and dims their headlamps and now you have 2 low beam lamps and 2 bright fog lamps projecting 100% more light than the driver needs in clear weather into your side mirrors and rear view mirrors The motor vehicle act reads that operators may use fog lamps instead of low beam when weather conditions require the use of fog lamps Nowhere in the Motor vehicle act does it allow the use of Both fog lamps and low beam in clear weather conditions Why are the R.C.M.P. and the M.V safety folks not working some night shifts to make better sense of poorly written M.V regulations? The U K. have had these regulations in place for years and issue citations for drivers who want Pilots of 747 airplanes to see their headlights COMMUNITY: Valley of the Sun COMMENTS*Note* okanaganlakebc.ca's comment in grey and reply in red You write: "What a waste of time painting every hole on Westside Road with orange and green paint, as if they can't tell what holes need to be filled. You can sure tell where all our money is wasted here! Labour and paint at the very least! This is another waste of your money that you should complain about don't you think? Labour, paint, and all." Dude, the reason those lines are painted around potholes is the system used to indicate to repair crews where to fill... it means those areas are going to be repaired! Never want to give benefit of the doubt eh?, always jumping to conclusions... why don't you run for election yourself or apply for a job with the MoT or volunteer to fight fires in the community... you come across like you know how to do everyone's job, which is way arrogant, so hey, go do it then man! All you do is complain and ask everyone else to complain, like you are looking for something to complain about every where you look. get a life. things are much better out here than you let on!! -neighbor dude okanaganlakebc.ca never claimed to know everything, just that that paint costs money, the labourer spraying the paint costs some more money, the paint may be bad for the environment, and if someone seen the hole to begin with, then why can't the next guy? Can you explain the process and maybe that will help us to understand why we need someone to paint the holes. COMMUNITY: Killiney Beach COMMENTSAlso get out of the way if it looks like it is the owner of this web site. I heard she went after someone with a 2x4, (someone put a poster on the bulletin board ... must be making progress to get that much attention... though never did threaten injury to anyone) squealed her tires when leaving the firehall and threatened to injure people while swearing and cussing profanities. (may have squealed my tires and uttered profanities but I never threatened to injure people) Maybe we do need a police presence out here to protect us from HER! (By the sounds of your comment you haven't met me) *Note* okanaganlakebc.ca's reply in red
