I pay the carbon tax, My concern is not so much that i am paying more, i do care, but, i dont see the air getting any cleaner, Do you?

considering that the carbon tax is based on the prospects of global warming. has anyone began their debate at square one? global warming? cause ya know. a little bit of thorough research will show, it's a crock. man-made c02 is virtually non-existent. so, taxing citizens based on this misconception is preposterous. it's just another way the elite have come up w/ to confuse us. look into the major governing body behind global warming: the IPCC, and find scams upon scams. here's a thought: don't pay the carbon tax. whenever possible, lie, cheat, steal or scream. write in to your mp or whomever. just don't pay it. cause the folks sitting atop this giant lie are having a great big laugh at your expense.

This government creates all sorts of taxes which do not help any one in the long run. It creates policies to control in some form, and their policies do not help that is the bottom line. People talk away and more talk, nothing really changes for the people that really benefits them. It's a circle that goes round and round with no postive results. $100.00 WOW! That is money that belongs to the citizens in the first place, it is not a gift. THEY LOOK SO FOOLISH IN THEIR JACKASS BUSINESS SUITS.

I think this Carbon Tax is nothing more than a big cash grab for the government, just like all the enviro fees we pay on paint cans, oil containers, etc. I have not seen a place provided in Mackenzie to dispose of such items, other than the local landfill. I would think, that the way B.C.'s economy is going, the government would be more than willing to reduce fuel taxes in an effort to keep business costs down and people working. Every piece of equipment, other than a chainsaw, used in forestry, burns diesel. As we all know, Forestry in northern B.C. is almost extinct and the main source of employment for various communities. So, not only are we unemployed, but the government is going to add yet another tax!!! I probably would be more open to the tax, if I lived in an area that had milder temperatures and public transit. Public transit is not available in Mackenzie, therefore I must drive. My question is, what are they going to find to tax next? Electricity? Water? Air?
