okanaganlakebc.ca is operated by one middle aged (crazy according to some) person whom lives on the Westside of Okanagan Lake BC along Westside Road, and whom smokes. Thought that should be added, just in case it makes a difference. If smoking has anything to do with it according to some people, you may want to use the red x in the upper right corner of this webpage. We understand how smoking affects people, it turns people away because they don't want to breath the smoke LOL! So please take advantage of this warning while you can, and we don't mean the cigarette brand when we say take advantage.... sorry if there is any misunderstanding.

This middle aged person actually feels privileged to be banned from emailing the Regional District of Central Okanagan. We know we must be doing something right LOL!

okanaganlakebc.ca doesn't exactly want to tell you who we are unless we trust you not to assassinate, as you may wish to assassinate the High Lord of this website whom is also well known as the webmaster of okanaganlakebc.ca. okanaganlakebc.ca is somewhat reserved in this aspect, as any lord should be. okanaganlakebc.ca can never be on everyone's good list so we wish to stay safe.

If you live in the local area, you may know whom okanaganlakebc.ca is and may have even met okanaganlakebc.ca. You may even be a neighbour of okanaganlakebc.ca, maybe even unbeknownst to you. Many people of Westside Road have met the webmaster of okanaganlakebc.ca at one time or another and or are friends or acquaintance or have seen the website.

You may be a neighbour that wishes okanaganlakebc.ca could do something about present problems. Or you may be a neighbour whom wishes okanaganlakebc.ca would take a hike. okanaganlakebc.ca is a blacksheep in some people's eyes, so you can't count on any help coming from this end! You could try joining the North Westside Ratepayers Association or another association from your area. If you need help, you could try getting up off your duff and vote next time, if you didn't vote in the last election. If you did vote, thanks! If you have lived on the Westside of Okanagan Lake for a while and haven't heard of okanaganlakebc.ca before, where have you been LOL?

If you do a search on google for anything to do with Westside Road BC, most likely you will come up with a link to okanaganlakebc.ca. okanaganlakebc.ca is concentrating developing on the North Westside of Okanagan Lake portion of the website and if you wish to contribute in other area's, don't hesitate to ask. No there will be no profile photo posted of okanaganlakebc.ca on the website. If you want a profile ... here's one okanaganlakebc.ca is not afraid of letting local people know who we are and whom we have had interaction with in the past, but we don't want to be a sitting duck if you know what is meant by that and know anything about the internet. You never know who your friends are, and the internet is no place to find out.

By the way, just below (and on the bottom of almost every page) is a photo of the famous and beginning to be rare mauve coloured Sagebrush Mariposa Lily that grows wild here in the Central Okanagan. We have seen various colors of mauve, pink and white but not the very rare red and white one as yet. If you see the red and white Mariposa Lily please be careful and don't damage it, as it is on the species at risk list. Try and protect it if you can and who knows, maybe notify someone important.

I have been to a lot of places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone. I've also never been in Cognito, either. I hear no one recognizes you there. I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport, you have to be driven there. I've made several trips!

How We Hide Email Addresses From Harvesters On okanaganlakebc.ca

We use the Automatic HiveLogic Encoder Form to hide email addresses from email harvesters on okanaganlakebc.ca website. If the HiveLogic Encoder form is not working, sometimes we use a graphic image (.gif) or (.jpg). You never want to publish your email address on the web without it being encoded or disguised in some way. Daily Average
The daily average is the number of visits in a month divided by the number of days in that particular month.

Visits
Visits occur when some remote site makes a request for a page on the server for the first time. As long as the same site keeps making requests within a given timeout period, they will all be considered part of the same Visit. If the site makes a request to the server, and the length of time since the last request is greater than the specified timeout period (default is 30 minutes), a new Visit is started and counted, and the sequence repeats. Since only pages will trigger a visit, remotes sites that link to graphic and other non-page URLs will not be counted in the visit totals, reducing the number of false visits.

Sites
Sites is the number of unique IP addresses/hostnames that made requests to the server. Care should be taken when using this metric for anything other than that. Many users can appear to come from a single site, and they can also appear to come from many IP addresses so it should be used simply as a rough gauge as to the number of visitors to the server.
